Welcome to the Blog !

105 degree weather couldn't possibly stop my spoopy self from attending a ghost town! I mean come on, is there anything more pleasing to the soul than imagining what a whole town used to be and now seeing it in real life as it withers away what used to be a driving community. There's something quite poetic and nostalgic about a relic from the past. Nelson Ghost Town, a 45 minute drive from Las Vegas. This hidden gem is snuggled beautifully in the Eldorado Canyon, with so many photogenic opportunities within our reach. Believe me we went a little snap crazy, shut! shut! shutting away. Not only was it incredible for a photographer's eye, but the owner was kind enough to chat us up and tell us all the amazing iconic artists, singers, movie stars that have visited. Beyonce, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Fast & the Furious, Bon Jovi, and many many more. Make sure to spot the crashed plane from 3000 Miles to Graceland.

If you haven't gotten yourself to personally experience Las Vegas, Nevada. What in the world are you doing? I'm going to assume that because you are planning or even considering that Vegas trip, that's why you're here. So let's get to it, shall we ?! First lets start up with the obvious photogenic spot of all of Vegas, known to many as the Vegas Strip. Length of about 4mi, Sahara Avenue to Russell Road (north to south.) This strip is an obvious photo stop, but in my opinion if you wish that iconic ,

WELCOME TO LAS VEGAS pic. Head to 5100 Las Vegas Blvd S, for that fabulous Vegas welcome.

Now, if you been to Vegas and experience fro yourself how insanely day to day life is here, then perhaps getting a little out of central Las Vegas is just the right thing. This is exactly what we ended up doing when realizing that the places we wanted to photograph in the city was just too busy, too loud, and just overall more frustrating than fun. So out of the city, roughly a 45 min drive to this yet another iconic, photogenic, instagrammable destination for your Vegas trip !

all you need is a working camera, time, and expectations out the window. Probably easier said than done, as photographers we always have this lingering weight over our shoulders of getting those perfect shots. That's a given, it kind of comes with the territory, and as a client I'm sure you're looking forward to having that great family shot where everyone, especially the kiddos are looking directly at the camera. After all it is a family session, but between you and I, let's be realistic for one second. Trying to get any child to look straight into the camera takes more time then to rest that expectation and just have fun. Family fun, a family session should not feel forced or painful. You should be able to leave your session worn out from fun and not from stress. This is where we say as photographers to leave the stressing to us and the worrying about that "perfect" shot up to us. We just want you to have fun and enjoy your time with your family, and in between all the fun you can be sure your photographer has already captured that shot.
